Inspired by Matt Jones and born from our legendary San Quentin lineup, the Marin San Quentin 24” is the ultimate ‘first proper’ hardcore hardtail for kids who want to shred. It’s packed with the same attitude as its bigger siblings—allowing your young ripper to jump, rail corners, and send it with confidence.

Designed in collaboration with freeride icon Matt Jones, the San Quentin seamlessly blends our dirt-jumping Alcatraz DNA with a trail-ready, go-anywhere hardtail platform. Rolling on stout 24" wheels, it’s built around a burly Series 2 aluminum frame and features a RockShox Judy Silver TK fork, a wide-range microSHIFT 9-speed drivetrain, and kid-specific hydraulic disc brakes.

For kids who crave speed, big air, and a bike that’s ready to handle it all, the San Quentin 24” is the perfect launchpad into the world of hardcore mountain biking.
